I’m from class of ’99. You once paid me a dollar to be your “toady” for a day…or well, “a storyboarding class”. I wish I could’ve made it to Dragon Con this year, I was really hoping to catch up with you! But I’m happy to hear about Sugar Ninja’s positive reception…and that Hello Kitty rides again!
I don’t want to make this too long, but “when the heck did you start writing songs?!!” by the way, Midnight Garden Party is freakin’ awesome! Is there anywhere you can go to hear it set to music...? It would have been sweet to hear it on the radio! Ahhh…that’s what I get for not going to grad school, right?
Lastly, I can’t leave a message on this page without saying hi to some familiar names – Rob Epps, Rachelle Fox “hope you are doing well wherever you are – all my best!” That goes double for you, Bob! I heard you been having email problems (from the people below) and I wanted to say hi. I dislike to a great extent that you are not a Norris anymore. In fact, if you know who I can send an angry letter to, please tell me. I Promise, I'll use my indoor voice. I know I didn't get a lot done in you class, but I DID find out how to fix a lot of story telling problems I had, that I don't think I could have fixed without really studying and thinking about what I was doing.
Between looking for a job and dealing with some big family issues that have come up (and coloring), I have drawn and inked two pages and I must say they are the best pages I have ever done. I'm not as fast as I use to be by any measure, but the quality of my work is light years above what I was doing. Hopefully soon, I will get the speed I have desired, but for sure, I wouldn't have the skills without your senor project class. I put my email in the email bar thingy so send me some info on where to send that angry letter ^_^

Ok, so I'm finally here...after you gave me the addy for your site MONTHS ago last time I saw you at B&N. 'course, now I've finally got a computer that can actually handle web browsing, which is something of an improvement, and certainly helps with the site-viewing. And I was so excited! Just wanted to pass along how much I've enjoyed Bristol Board JUngle. It' san excellent and informative book that has helped me improve my work, but also been entertaining. I've read it a number of times now and always take something from it. Great book, good work.

Hey, this is Daniel, guess what? I'm finally in the DragonCon Art Show again this year. The art director called me and basically told me I could only get in if I promised to censor myself (the impression was also made that if I didn't, I'll be kicked out for good).
Also, I have myself a book coming out next Wednesday, of my paintings and drawings. It also contains a special sneak peek at my next book which will, finally, after all these years, be my COMICS.

Since I won't be seeing you on your BDay, Happy BDay! Mine is this Sunday. I'll be 22.
Your birthday blog reminded me of my past birthdays. I can remember My mom going out of her way to surprise me with something awesome every year, except for one year. My last birthday at home, My 18th. I didn't even get a cake and a card. I was very upset and my aunt Debbie took pity on me and baked me a cake. So we had cake and sang and I felt better. But since then I have always had less than awesome birthdays. Especially if I try to plan them myself. But at least I can remember what an awesome birthday party is like and be happy that I had so many of them growing up.
